The sustainable growth path includes ambitious and quantified targets to be achieved by 2026. The initiatives undertaken range from environmental sustainability, such as the positive exploitation of the area’s natural resources, to social sustainability with constant recognition of the value of the individual.

Environmental sustainability has become an imperative for companies operating in a variety of sectors, including the textile industry. Addressing environmental challenges requires a holistic and proactive approach that goes beyond mere regulatory compliance and aims to integrate sustainable practices at all stages of the production process.

As part of our concrete commitment to sustainability, we have stipulated a list of 7 pillars for our sustainable development:

  1. Increasingly choose Eco Design principles in fabric design;
  2. Aim to decrease emissions with greater use of natural resources;
  3. Constantly monitor environmental performance;
  4. Witness through product and system certifications the company's environmental commitment;
  5. Seek out and use suppliers who are attentive to environmental sustainability;
  6. Constantly and in an "honest and objective" manner communicate progress on the issue of sustainability

In conclusion, adopting sustainable practices within a company is no longer just an option, but an imperative necessity to address global environmental challenges. Integrating Eco Design principles into fabric design, building zero-emission factories, monitoring environmental performance, obtaining certifications, selecting sustainable suppliers, engaging staff, and communicating transparently about progress are just a few of the many actions companies can take to reduce their environmental impact.

In addition to ensuring the long-term survival of the company itself, adopting sustainable practices offers a number of tangible benefits, including reduced operating costs, access to new markets and customers sensitive to sustainability, and mitigation of reputational and regulatory risks.

More importantly, however, investing in environmental sustainability represents a moral and social duty to future generations and the environment in which we live. Only through concrete and collaborative efforts of all stakeholders, including companies, institutions, consumers, and civil society, can we hope to build a more sustainable and resilient future for all.
